Do you mean if the CVS update is not posted that I will miss some of the
files?  If yes, then ok, I agree I will miss some of the files.  However
as I cannot convince our Network Operations group, their bosses or the
grand wazoo of the company that "sup" is a worthwhile service to allow
through the firewall, anon ftp is my only choice -- and, I suspect,
several others'.

If the transfer fails (I check the transfer by seeing what's there and
diffing it against what is *supposed* to be there), I just restart it.
No big deal.  In this case I don't understand from whence you draw
your conclusions.
