I am having a few minor (but annoying) problems with NetBSD 1.0, but
basically it is pretty stable and runs well, and I'm happy with it.
However, I would like to see if I could fix the aforementioned small
problems as well as add some of the functionality of -current.
I am wondering what experiences other people have had in the process of
upgrading to 1.0. Did you find a lot of things broke.. etc? I can't afford
to have much downtime... but of course I realize I am running a free
operating system here, and I'm own my own as far as that goes. I will of
course do a full dump before I upgrade, and then if stuff is too broken I
will restore and continue... the problem is I need to avoid installing it
and thinking everything is going fine, only to find dozens of "gotchas"
later on.
Also, I am wondering if there is any convienent documentation on changes
from 1.0 through -current. Also wondering if there will be a new numbered
release anytime soon... 2.0? 1.5? 1.0.1...? whatever...
