Wouldn't it be better to use syslog(3) for this (maybe daemon.notice,
or define a new log rating of 'LOG_MEDIA' (after 'LOG_CRON'?) and use
"media.notice".)
Then you can just setup syslog.conf to send it to root, operator,
/dev/console, or anything else...
