Yup, makes it very easy to "xerox" machines.  I like rc.config
much better that IRIX's chkconfig mechanism.  While I personally
think that the SYSV init.d approach is a bit cumbersome, it's
also extremely flexible.  I wouldn't be too upset if it
were to be adopted...
