Greg, that last comment was hilarius! I haven't seen humor like
that since the sun.tstech days.. Remember those?
The DP ver. 2.x code had stuff in it to support 386BSD. But,
that has been complelely removed. Now, the only requirement for
DP to work is that the system have STREAMS. I'm currently working
on performance and packet compression in DP. I'm getting about 5.2K
thoughput on transmit. But, receive is terrible. But, overall dp
version 4.0 is pretty stable.
Anyways, hopefully the preceeding paragraph better explains why I
want a STREAMS implementation in BSD. Also, I really like STREAMS
for various reasons.
