I was attempting a "make World" for the X11R6/Xfree3.1.2
X server when the following error appeared in the log file:

    (...compiling libraries...)

     ld: virtual memory exhausted
     *** Error code 1 (continuing)
     `all' not remade because of errors.

     rm -f libX11.a


Help!

I have NetBSD 1.0 on a Pentium with a 1 GB hard drive.

Do I need to set some value or do I need something 
more drastic?
