You can't do that between different hosts who mount the NFS file system,
nope, and I assume that this is the point that was made in that README
file. However, locally it should work; otherwise it would be impossible
to use UNIX domain sockets in a diskless setup, for example.

There seems to be some incompatibility problem between a NetBSD NFS
server and a SunOS client when it comes to this, so that's why I hoped
that people may have tried booting other OSs diskless using a NetBSD server,
so that could be established if it is a server problem for sure, or
a SunOS client quirk.
