Hi,

Doing a favor for a friend, he brought his spiffy new 4Gig 'cuda over so
that I could dump some NetBSD bins on, and when we booted it up on the
Sparc, we got the following:

sd2 at scsibus0sd2(esp0:2:0): not ready, data = 00 00 00 00 04 00 01 00 00 00
sd2: could not mode sense (4); using fictitious geometry

This happened on:

grind$ uname -a
NetBSD grind 1.1 NetBSD 1.1 (GRIND) #0: Mon Nov 27 21:56:34 PST 1995     windsor@grind:/usr/src/sys/arch/sparc/compile/GRIND sparc

(Sparc 2)

Any ideas what's going on here?

Other than this, the drive appears to work fine (did some thorough hammering
on it and it held up well).
