Regardless of whether or not /var/mail needs to be "rethought," I
think it's silly that 'mail' for mail reading has been broken in
NetBSD-current for ... well over 7 months now. (I say "well over 7
months" because there's been a PR on it for that long, and I know it
was broken for at least a little while before that PR was filed!)
I think it's ... somewhat telling that I, somebody who doesn't use
'mail' very much at all (like, almost never) and is quite used to
system brokenness have found it annoying enough over time that I
hacked around it (with a mail group) on my home machines...
