Hello...
Doing a "ls -LR ./" instead of a "ls -LR ." in a directory containing at
least one directory reports a "directory causes cycle" for each
directory-entry. The behaviour of this command must have changed in the
last months, because it already worked correctly.
I fear I can't be exact about the date of the change, because I found the
error in a script I use quite seldom. The only thing I am sure of is, that
the change happened after the 1.2-release, very probable later than the
end of May '97. The script worked at least once and I installed it around
the end of May.
Perhaps someone has a clue, why there is a difference between . and ./ in
this case?
Bye, Bjoern
