Forgive me if I'm showing how little I really know about this
technology, I figured I'd ask here because it seems new enough that it's
probably only in -current if we support it at all.

    I've heard that using "packet writing" (whatever that is) CDRW's can
be written to just like regular hard drives, you don't need to worry
about making sessions and writing large chunks at once and all the stuff
you usually have to do to make a CDR disk.  Can anybody tell me how (if
at all) NetBSD handles CDRW drives?  Especially if it could be used just
like any other removable storage device, I'd half consider getting a
CDRW drive, but this seems new enough and the CD standards strange
enough that I'd be amazed if you could ever use it like a regular
removable drive.

    Does that make any sense at all??  =)  I'd appreciate any thoughts /
suggestions.
