I have 'the' patch that you probably mean here. This is the latest that
Koji had send out. However, it was made for NetBSD_1.2G, I think, so it
won't apply cleanly. If you know what you are doing, it isn't that hard
to make the corrections. A large part of the patch I have currently up to
date for NetBSD-1.3.
To integrate this in the official tree, first the decision has to be made
wich of the 3 proposed methods we are going for. Thereafter the implementation
and testing has to be done. This requires *a lot* of time, time I currently
don't have...
If somebody does have the time and wants to finish it, I will be happy
to hand over what I have and to provide the support I can give. Otherwise,
it just has to wait until I can find some time to spend on it.
