As Matt already noted, 'make build' installs the world, too.

In addition to just building and installing the xc tree, it also
builds and installs the contrib tree (the XF86-supplied contents of
which are also in xsrc).  That's something that 'make World && make
install && make install.man' in the xc tree won't do for you.
