It's been awhile... let me see if I can remember...

1) You don't need EXEC_ELF32 for COFF binaries.

2) As far as /emul goes, you don't need anything in there to run static,
non-X binaries.

3) If the binary uses shared libs, then you will need /emul/ibcs2/shlib to
be populated with the required shared libs. 

4) If you are running an X binary, you need to run 
"touch /emul/ibcs2/dev/socksys" (yes, its a kludge).

5) X programs can't use local sockets (actually STREAMS pipes on SCO) so
you need to set DISPLAY to localhost:0.0 instead of :0.0.

That's about it I think. Let me know if this helps.
