Nonsense. I think that is the most appropriate answer. There
are a handful of people that are continuously arguing for changes
which if they were all implemented would make NetBSD look an awful lot
like SVR4. Things aren't necessarily evil just because they come from
SysV, but there are a lot of evil things in SysV including certain
things that a handful of people continuously whine about. Personally,
I think it is the people with a SysV background that suffer from NIH,
since they are continuously whining about BSD/SysV differences. One
of the big reasons I use NetBSD is because it is BSD; although, that's
not the only reason. "If you want SysV, you know where to find it"
(and if you don't, that's your problem).
