This is a bug. Are you sure th9is is EOPNOTSUPP ? It only appears in
ss.c in the scsi drivers.
Could you try to track this down ? At first debugs messages from the
scsipi system could be very helpfull (in scsipi_debug.h,
#define SCSIDEBUG, and set DEBUGTYPE to BUS_ATAPI and DEBUGTARGET to 1
(1 because your drive is slave).
