Ladies and Gentlemen,

I've uploaded a first cut of the 1.4_ALPHA distribution for the Amiga.
No secr, no X, else it should be fine for testing.

It was personally tested by me on:

- DraCo, 32+16+16 (== 64)MB of RAM, 68060/50 CPU, Altais graphics
- A3000, 16+2*32 (==80) MB of RAM, 68040/25 CPU, CV64/3d graphics
- A3000, 16+2*32 (==80) MB of RAM, 68040/25 CPU, A2410 text console

Known problems: 
- ftp installation from a non-anonymous ftp server somehow doesnt work.
  I'm investigating. Tell me if it works for you.

We plan to do a 2nd _ALPHA snapshot after a week (Matthias Scheler has
volunteered to do so). 

Please try it and report problems.
