So, if you do a lot of building on a fast box, and install everything in
$DESTDIR/usr/pkg/..., will everything work when the DESTDIR in question
becomes / on another machine?

I'm trying to work around a laptop whose ethernet is acting up, and it
occurred to me that I could just install everything with DESTDIR from a
desktop box (with the drive plugged in), but now I'm not sure it'll stay
working.
