I'm trying to get CardBus working on my Sony VAIO F270, but not having
much luck. It appears as though it's finding the controller, but not
using it because of "intr unconfig." I know that if I don't enable
cardbus support in the kernel, it does properly find the Ricoh
controller but not configure it.
Am I missing something obvious here?
Thanks...

Hello...
Although I do not have the same hardware, I did experience the same sort
of messages on my Toshiba notebook. I had to go into the BIOS and change
the ports from being "auto probed" to "Cardbus/16 bit". After that, the
cardbus was probed and things attached, including the former pcmcia stuff.
I don't know if Sony notebooks can do something simular.
