I have:

st0 at scsibus0 target 3 lun 0: <HP, C1533A, 9401> SCSI2 1/sequential removable
st0: drive empty

I have certainly used this drive with compression in the past, but
can't but sure I've tested its capacity recently.

If you're still having trouble let me know and I'll do some testing.
I've agot the SCSI manual for the drive someplace, if it gets really
stubborn. :-)
