AFAIU, CVS repositories cannot get smaller by normal means.
If you delete files, they are still in the repository under
Attic/ .
Will there be some handcrufting (rm -rf xsrc/xfree) after 3.3.* has
been replaced by 4.0.* in xsrc/xc?
Will 3.3.* even be replaced or will both X versions stay there?
