On Feb 10, I updated from a mid-December -current. At some point after
that, I started noticing odd happenings, eg Emacs locks up or
disappears, random reboots with no kernel dump (actually that happened
a few times previously). At one point yesterday, cp was dumping core
every time I tried to run it, but it magically started working again
after a reboot.
Yesterday I decided to update and build again. I've been through the
process about 5 or 6 times now, and every time it fails after 20 - 40
minutes with something like:
cc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 11
at a different point in the build process.
Is there something unstable about -current lately, or is my hardware
starting to fail? (In other words, should I first try downgrading to
1.5, or should I first start jimmying DIMMs and swapping out CPUs?)
