Whoa, me too. Except it was mozilla, approx. a week ago, window went to
sticky mode, kill -9 doesn't kill, "hey, I've got gdb!", oops,
drive to work, kick the alpha, reboot, curse & mumble, drive home.

I haven't been able to reproduce this afterwards (Okay, I've tried to
avoid it)
