I started getting horrible reception on my PRISM2.5 card recently.
/etc/rc.d/network restart sometimes revives it, as does 'ifconfig
wi0 down; ifconfig wi0 up', but the performance is utter drek.

If I were to guess, I'd say it happened when the 802.11 framework
got integrated, but since I wasn't using my wi0 much around then,
I can't say for sure.
