Yes, what is odd is that rb.h includes sys/types.h which does

#if defined(_KERNEL) || defined(_STANDALONE)
#define bool    _Bool

Ah: when compiling libc, _KERNEL isn't defined...

possibly #else #include <stdbool.h> instead?
