If the system is up and I plug in the printer, everything works ok.
What's really weird is that if I have the printer connected prior to
boot and the system hangs, I can wait a couple of minutes (more or
less), then press some random key and have the boot process resumed.
I guess this means that it doesn't actually hang, but spends time
doing something until a specific timeout gets exhausted (?)
I hope I make any sense at all :)
