It looks that you are running out of KVA. Is that right? Perhaps
decreasing the following in uvm_emap.c would help:

#define UVM_EMAP_SIZE (128 * 1024 * 1024) /* 128 MB */
#else
But if so, why is it too high? How much of KVA space IA64 allocates?

Why do you want to make it global?
