/backup/obj/tooldir.NetBSD-5.99.22-amd64/bin/nbhost-mkdep: Unknown option: -traditional-cpp

Any suggestions how to track down this problem? HEAD checked out today.
My obj directory's contents were removed.

I am running:

  time ./build.sh -U -O /backup/obj distribution 2>&1 | tee J3

A part of the build log is:

The entire build.sh output log is here:

http://tx.reedmedia.net:17777/J3

I don't understand where the -traditional-cpp flag is coming from.

This is an old NetBSD system with gcc 4.1.3. I have built NetBSD on it
with build.sh many, many times.
