+The appearance of xalarm is much better if the color resources are
+properly specified and the correct resources for Xaw3d are set.
+
+You can do this just by setting

+*customization: -color 
+
+in your ~/.Xdefaults file.

+Alternatively, you can put the contents of the XAlarm-color app defaults
+file into your .Xdefulats file.
