It is a supported platform in "pkgsrc". So is NetBSD. You remember that OS, right? I'm with Hubert there, NetBSD should be the platform supported by pkgsrc that's more equal than the others, not the other way around. > 2.) Yes, I choose to use a branch because I try to respect the work of others, and I didn't want to take the chance of breaking Mac OS X support (even though there is nothing I hate more than doing favors to Apple bend-ov^W^Wcustomers), especially that close to the pkgsrc release. (And also because I expected quite a few commits to x11-links and I didn't want to crank its version up 3 times a day.) I know you're a good person and you didn't mean any harm, quite the contrary, so I apologise for reacting so harshly. But that really pissed me off, because I did the commit just yesterday, and I'm sure there's plenty of other stuff that is still needed for the newer and better version of OSX, but you might not have spotted them because it just doesn't affect any package you ever build. And you might want to look at how I did that pixman builtin.mk. One thing I don't like in the work you've done so far is the fact that the almost-same builtin.mk is copied all over the place. This is just not something I expect from the NetBSD project. -- Quentin Garnier - cube%cubidou.net@localhost - cube%NetBSD.org@localhost "See the look on my face from staying too long in one place [...] every time the morning breaks I know I'm closer to falling" KT Tunstall, Saving My Face, Drastic Fantastic, 2007.
