"Newer Solaris" means OpenSolaris 11. /usr/ucb is (finally) gone. And
as the imake rules are platform specific anyway, why not use the
installer provided by the OS?

Of course you could define install-sh as The Installer for every
platform (not only Solaris), and never ever have to worry again.
