Update to 1.0, provided by Bartosz Kuzma in PR 41193.
Add LICENSE.

        - fix a segfault when the zip cannot be opened, patch by
          Peter Kortschack.
        - make use_unzip unstatic.
        - update to current autoconf/automake.
