I know the desired practice here, but the package has not been updated
for 8 years, and all we have is a 636 line long ChangeLog. There is
nothing more concise. I have no iead of the relevant list of changes (I
did the upgrade for TLS support, the other new stuff is of no interest
to me), and I thought it would be a bad idea to copy more than 600 lines
in the CVS commit message.
