I don't even know what that tool does, but building it without LFS seems
to be a reasonable fix for older and/or closed SunOS versions.
For Illumos-based systems, would this problem go away if the system had
the fix proposed in https://www.illumos.org/issues/2410?
I assume you have this fix in SmartOS already? If so, it would be great
if one of you Joyeurs would push it upstream into Illumos :)
