Log Message:
Update to 2.6:

- Fix the default configuration file to populate CVSTAG correctly when
  using a CVS/Tag file.
- Ensure that errors from CVS stop execution.

Problem reported by Nathan Arthur in private mail.  Change OKed by pmc.
