What if I don't want gfortran from gcc 4.8.3? Should I downgrade your
package back to 4.6.something? There're multiple reasons why we have
the whole grade of GCC compilers rather than one lang/gcc that installs
single version.

Please, remove the package and import it as it is done with other similar
GCC packages, including, but not limited to the very gfortran we're
talking about (it is part of lang/gcc46 and lang/gcc47, if you didn't notice).
