This can happen if you change settings such as PREFER_PKGSRC without
cleaning out work directories or removing old binary packages with
earlier settings.

When changing global options like that you must ensure everything is
rebuilt from scratch.  If in doubt check against the Joyent bulk build
reports, as we tend to pull in everything from pkgsrc.

Generally you will only see "couldn't buildlink files" errors when
there is a local problem.
