I see.  That makes sense.  Maybe a comment would be helpful so that
another developer doesn't make the same error then.

Basically, this as a comment slightly modified to:

# Do not add c++ to USE_LANGUAGES even though the build suggests it.
# That would make this package depend on C++ which is not required.
