Thanks for the attention.
The original PR has patch to pkgsrc, but missing the diff's
to (null to) adding patches. I did not figure out why diff
were not included, but recently understood the situation.

Submitter may be reluctant to do
'cvs add patches/patch-*' (may be because of no commit bit) but it
is not harmful to do that, and it will be nice to
get (null) to newfile patches (I believe).
So I raise the attention for that.
