Right, let's try looking at this another way - I think we'd all like
to know why a new version of xanalyser was needed in the first place,
and why the package got updated.
If it was because xanalyser is a pre-requisite for some other package,
and that other package needs a higher level, please just say.
Unlikely, I know, but there has to be something that triggered the
newer version.
Or if there are bug fixes that we might need, or security fixes, or
new functionality, well, I'm all ears for that. Especially why it's
taken 6 years for them to be hot stuff.
All in all, there has to be some reason why you had the diffs in your
backlog of uncommitted patches, and there had to be a burning reason
that you wanted to add them to pkgsrc in the runup to a freeze - so
please tell us all. Leaving a commit message as "No changelog found"
means more explanation is needed.
