the flip sides of the same coin, I chose in favour of retaining the
information for the README files as they contain more recent information
already (not counting Interix) & are linked to in the supported
platforms table.
I removed the platform specific notes from the guides section because
information was stale & I wanted to reduce duplication of information.
When you obtain pkgsrc, they README's are there in the bootstrap
directory in the readable form which means things are self contained.

I'll lift the Interix instructions tomorrow & regen.
