Hi,

so far, so good: as soon as XML::Parser is (manually) installed, the
whole sets compiles OK.

seems to run pretty well, expect the mixer application that cores wher
trying to change sound level. the application itself cores but changing
the main volume from the applet works.

the whole XFCE looks even better than the one I tested 4 days ago on
slackware - where icons were missing for eg.
