Hmm, we have a policy for pkgsrc to mention what changed in the cvs commit mail
and this is an update from 3.2 to 4.1 and you removed a lot of patches.
You also need to add an update entry in pkgsrc/doc/CHANGES.

Btw, there is allready a 4.2 on the ftp server, but no release
notes on the webpage yet. That file is just a few hours old.

GNU idutils-4.1 has been released.

This version adds java and lisp support,
fixes some minor bugs, and addresses some portability issues.

Special thanks go to Nelson H. F. Beebe of the University of Utah
for the many and precious reports about portability problems.

Changes since latest stable version 3.2 include a new
build system,
generated using recent versions of the autotools,
and the newest modules from gnulib.
In addition, bugs and portability issues have been
addressed,
support for the perl language has been added,
and internationalization has been updated.
