really? the pkgsrc guide speaks about bootstrapping as soon as you get a cvs checkout of pkgsrc http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/pkgsrc/platforms.html#bootstrapping-pkgsrc it does not list any exceptions. Which all platforms do I *need not* boot strap? i did bootstrap even on NetBSD because "make" did not work without it. Thankyou so much :-) Kind Regards Siju
