Besides the "II Error: Failed in Playback" error message as described 
previously, skype doesn't appear to shutdown cleanly. The following error is 
prompted when attempting to restart and login after a previous shutdown:

"Another Skype instance may exist"

and returning to the login screen. The following processes exist whilst skype
