I am the resident crank against renaming, and often feel that the pain
of churn isn't worth the benefit of cleanups.  But, what I usually
object to is changing PKGPATH, because that (for now) breaks
pkg_rolling-replace, which extracts PKGPATH and runs make replace.  I
don't think changing PKGNAME will mess up other maintenance procedures.
So presumably this is to align with the preferred name of upstream and
the rest of the world, and it seems ok.
