building qt4 example w/ qmake fails

1) It would be nice if the qt examples and tutorials were
   installed/installable somehow

2) trying to compile e.g. qt4's examples/widgets/wiggly by running
   "qmake && make" results in a binary that doesn't have
   -Wl,-R/usr/X11R6/lib, thus not finding its libs:

        noon% ./wiggly
        Shared object "libSM.so.6" not found

3) the x11/qt4-lib package doesn't have a MAINTAINER set, at all.

Does anyone have an idea how to "properly" fix at least #2?
