BTW, I think we should at least have an option
for its SMP support (it seemed to work for me
on NetBSD-current on amd64).  Also, might we want
to use MAP_TRYFIXED instead of MAP_FIXED?  I'm
not really sure, but my intuition says "yes".

Also, erlang 12b2 is out now ... ;)

BTW, beam.smp is installed when erlang's SMP
support is enabled--thus, we can use PLIST_SUBST for that.
