"freevo not running" on freevo shutdown

Hello,

When I use the "shutdown" option from the freevo (1.7.6) menu, the
application disappear but the processes are still there. On the X console,
I can see "freevo not running".

If I started freevo from a terminal, then I have to Ctrl-C it so that the
processes die.
If I start it from .xinitrc, I have to send them -9 signal so that
processes die.

Any idea ?
