rrdtool and x11-links

Hey all,

Just a quick question, has x11-links always been a prerequisite for rrdtool?

I don't seem to remember ever needing to install anything x11 to utiliserrdtool yet it appears to be heavily dependent.


Is there any way to install it without requiring x11-links?
